Trivia Night
The Conn-West PTA and LINC are super excited because we are 1 day away from our virtual Trivia Night. Trivia Night will happen tomorrow at 6:00 on Zoom. The directions for joining and the zoom link to join are below. We hope that everyone can join us tomorrow at 6:00 for this fun event!

Change your zoom name to your child’s grade level number followed by their name
ex. (5 Sarah). In this example, Sarah is the student and she is in 5th grade.

Instructions on how to change your name in Zoom:
Desktop/Laptop- Upon joining the game, you must hover your cursor over your own tile (your face) and click on the three dots in the upper right corner of your tile. Then select "rename" to change your name like so: "5 Sarah"
Mobile/Tablet- If you are playing from your phone, you can rename yourself by clicking the Participants button at the bottom of the screen, click your name and hit the rename option.

Kindergaraten Screenings
MAP Testing
- In person 3rd grade students will test May 3rd and 4th.
- In person fourth grade students will test May 6th and 7th.
- In person fifth grade students will test May 10th, 11th, and 13th.
Virtual students will come into the building to test on Wednesdays.
- Virtual 3rd grade students will test April 28th.
- Virtual students in 4th grade will test May 5th and 12th.
- Virtual 5th grade students will test May 5th and 12th.
The virtual teachers have reached out to families to discuss MAP testing. If your child is learning in a virtual setting and you have not heard from your child's teacher about MAP testing or you have questions about testing, please call our office @ 816-316-5225.

Do you want to make a difference in a child’s life? Are you looking for a schedule that is the same as your students, health insurance, paid days off, and more? Our school district is seeking talented individuals to drive our school buses. We offer paid training to get your Class B CDL. Student Tech Support
If you are having difficulty with a student device, first check out the website - it has a lot of great info and helpful tips to troubleshoot on your own. Still having issues? Email the helpdesk and someone will return the call within 24 hours. Wanting to talk to someone live? Call! Just be aware that they are experiencing a high call volume and your wait time may be extended.

School Day Hours
The school day begins at 9:05 am and ends at 3:55 pm. Students
may enter the building at 8:40 am. Please do not drop your child off
before 8:40 am unless they are enrolled in LINC. Breakfast will be served in the classroom from 8:40 am until 9:00 am.
Transportation and After School Changes
If your child’s mode of transportation or after school routine is going
to change for the day, please notify the main office
@ (816) 316- 5225 prior to 3:00 pm to ensure that your child arrives
at the appropriate destination.
Student Assistance Program
This is available to our families via referral by school counselors or by you calling the New Directions Help Line at 1-855-340-6487. All students and/or guardians can access the Help Line at any time, as it is open 24 hours each day, every day of the year. Students 18 and older can schedule counseling appointments on their own.
