Computer Pioners
Sir Tim Bernes Lee
Sir Timothy John "Tim" Berners-Lee, , (born 8 June 1955), also known as "TimBL," is a British computer scientest , best known as the inventor of the World Wide Web. He made a proposal for an information management system in March 1989,[4] and he implemented the first successful communication between a Hyper text transfer protocol client and server via the Internet sometime around mid November.
Alan Turing
Alan Mathison Turing, ; 23 June 1912 – 7 June 1954) was a British mathematician, logician, cryptanalyst and computer scientest. He was highly influential in the development of computer science, giving a formalisation of the concepts of "algorithm" and "computation" with the Turing machine, which can be considered a model of a general purpose computer. Turing is widely considered to be the father of theoretical computer science and artificial intelligence.
