Timberwolf Times
Vol. 1 Issue 24, January 23, 2019
Hello Timberwolf Nation!
Good afternoon everyone!
I hope that everyone is staying warm in this chilly weather. A couple of things I want to make sure that I emphasize. If you want to buy an ad for the year book the deadline is February 14th, please see the info below.
Just a reminder for both pick up and drop off in the front - you should double stack in both lanes and take turns coming to the front. It is called the zipper method where you are merging one car after the other from each lane. Please make sure that you follow this method to ensure that we move cars efficiently through the line and so that we have minimal traffic on the street on Woodcreek Bend Lane. We want everyone to have a pleasant experience dropping and picking up their child. Please remember to be kind to each other and drive slowly through the line when picking up your child(ren).
I hope that everyone has a great rest of the week!
Regards,
Dr. Melinda Stone
Principal

Help Coach DeForke AND the Katy ISD Educational Foundation!
Dear WoodCreek Family,
I recently registered for February 02, 2019 Katy Half Marathon 5K 1K. It’s a tough goal, and I’m excited to go for it! To support me in making this goal a reality, I've chosen Katy ISD Education Foundation as my Reason2Race. Racing for them will keep me accountable to my training and race day goal and will add a very special element to my adventure. My goal is to raise over $2,000 for the Katy ISD education foundation. Last year, two of our teachers received a grant from the Ed Foundation!
Check out my page and learn about Katy ISD Education Foundation here: https://my.reason2race.com/StockCreek/KatyHalf5K2019
Please consider donating to this worthwhile cause. Your support will make such a difference for me and them!
Thank you so much,
Coach DeForke
