Important Reminders For March 22-26
**Progress Reports go home on Wednesday. Please sign and return the envelope on Thursday. We are so proud of everyone's progress!
** If you haven't ordered a yearbook, it's not too late. Order forms have gone home if you would like to order one. They are $25.00 each.
**Please send a healthy snack and water bottle with your child to school (water fountains are closed-please label with child's name). Thank you to those who have donated snack items and other items for the classroom! We greatly appreciate it!
**Please remember to send your child’s fully charged chrome book daily in their book-bag. Please send it in their case with the charger and please make sure water bottles are not inside with the computer.
SPRING EGG HUNT!!!
We are tentatively planning on having a Spring Egg Hunt on Thursday, April 1st (weather pending). Each child will need to bring 12 plastic eggs and a basket by the day of the hunt. We are asking for girls only to bring in one bag of small individually wrapped candy and boys only to bring one bag of Easter grass. The students will be making a “bunny bag” that we will fill with the grass and candy to take home. Please bring grass and candy by March 30th.
Thanks for your help!
DON'T FORGET OUR MARCH READING CHALLENGE!!! COMPLETE ALL 25 BOXES AND TURN IN BY MARCH 31ST!

Nightly Homework Practice
**Students need to practice recognizing/reading their Weekly Words words each night. We will have recognition tests on Fridays on these words. Sight word recognition is very important-90% of texts students read are sight words (words that cannot be sounded out).
**We are excited to begin a new spelling routine. Your child will have 5-10 "word family/CVC words" to learn how to spell each week. There will be a simple exercise to complete each night with the words. We will send home the work for the entire week on Mondays. Your child has all week to complete them. It shouldn't take longer than 5-10 minutes to complete. The completed assignments can remain in your child's homework folder until Friday. We will check for completed assignments on Friday and give prizes for completion. Your child will also have a spelling test on those 5 words on Friday.
