HFRCS Newsletter SY2021-2022
March 15, 2022 - Vol.1 Issue 30
From the Principal's Office
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Yesterday was the start of the last trimester of the school year! And although Spring is just around the corner, it’s important for our students to begin this last leg of the race with confidence and stamina. We can’t let spring fever get us off our game! We must pursue this trimester with positive efforts and finish the race strong! Report cards will be distributed on Friday at the close of the school day. Please reach out to your child’s teacher with any questions or concerns.
This afternoon our students from grades 3-8 received the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The students participated in a brief Penance Service where they heard the word of God and did an examination of conscience.
As we continue through the holy season of Lent, I want to remind all our students and families of our Lenten service project. This year we are collecting baby items for the Blessed Margaret Castello Home. Please see the list of items needed in this newsletter. All donations are due in school by Wednesday, April 13. Thank you for your support of this very worthy cause!
This Thursday we will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day by the Wearing of the Green! This will be a $1 dress down day sponsored by our Student Council.
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Mrs. Haggerty

Student Council: Ukraine
Student Council will be sponsoring a two-part fundraiser to provide immediate assistance to families in Ukraine. March 25, Friday, will be an extra $1 dress down day to wear Blue and Yellow only to show our support.
Student Council will be selling $0.50/chance to guess the number of blue and yellow jelly beans in a jar. Chances will be available at all lunch times through March 25. Winner will be announced on Friday, March 25, afternoon. If more than one winner guesses the exact amount, the jelly beans will be split amongst the winners.
All proceeds will be donated to Catholic Relief Services.
Yearbook Order!
You may place your Yearbook Order (School Year 2021-2022) through the month of March using this link. The cost of the yearbook is $30 each. Don't delay so you don't miss out on bringing home the memories of this school year! Books will be distributed in June for those who ordered.
Note: 8th graders will receive a yearbook as part of their graduation fee so there is no need to place an online order unless they need more than one copy.
If you missed out on ordering the yearbook for previous years, we have limited quantities available for purchase. If you are interested, please send in the payment, exact cash or check payable to HFRCS, in an envelope marked "Past Yearbook" to your homeroom teacher.
