Middle School Fall Sports Schedules
6th-8th Grade Parent Info Night
The BMS staff will host a 6th-8th Parent Information night on Tuesday, October 4th from 6:00 -7:15 PM. It will be held in the upstairs classrooms of the middle school building. Parents will rotate to each session, and the sessions will include:
- ALL THINGS GOOGLE + Amplify
- TylerSIS Parent Portal (access to grades, attendance, lunch balance), School App, School Website
- House System Overview & Building Expectations
- Principal's Chat- discussions and parent input on various topics
- Counselor's Corner- Digital Safety and Social Emotional Learning
There will also be an opportunity to sign up for parental involvement activities throughout the year. We are excited about some new ideas to increase family involvement at BMS!
Students will also receive House Points for your attendance! We hope to see everyone there!

ATTENDANCE
House Spirit Days
Remember that EVERY Wednesday is House Spirit Day! Be sure to wear House colors and be ready for our meetings and competitions. Our new House shirts have arrived and will be passed out next week. Check out our leaderboard as of September 30! It's a close race!

TUTORING
Tutoring is available after school if your child needs help in certain subject areas. Please contact the office or your child's teacher if you have any questions. We hope to have our advisory tutoring program up and running soon, but as of right now, we have after school tutoring available on the following days:
Jr. Beta Halloween Dance- Monday, October 17th
Quarantines/Homebound Procedures
Currently, only students who are positive for Covid-19 must quarantine. These students who are positive will be placed on Homebound for 5 days from the start of symptoms. If the student feels well enough to Google Meet into their classes, they may do that and be counted "present" for attendance purposes. Please call our office at 568-4283 if you have any questions about these procedures.
FCS
The Fellowship of Christian Students/Staff meets in the high school library every Wednesday from 7:30-7:50am. All students and staff are invited to participate.
