ECHS November Newsletter
ECHS Students and Parents,
We hope this Newsletter finds you well. The last two weeks have been very busy ones at ECHS. While our existing students were busy with their classes, assessments, and creating their Winter Term schedule, our staff were welcoming and orientating new students joining ECHS as a part of our Winter Term Cohort. We are so very excited to welcome these new students to our program.
For all of our parents, in the newsletter this month there is an invitation to join our ECHS Parent Steering Group. We would love your help and feedback and we hope that you will consider joining. The goal for this group is to provide feedback on how we can improve our program and better support and serve our students and families. Please click the link in the article below if you are able to join during our first scheduled meeting on December 14th or any other meetings in the future.
Finally, I am sure that June feels like a long way away, but for our seniors and our senior parents, we have included a link below to a graduation website that includes initial tentative graduation information, cap and gown ordering information along with a graduation F.A.Q . We will continue to update the graduation website and post it to each ECHS newsletter between now and June as information and state in-person gathering guidelines evolve.
Thank you all for your support, and we hope you all have a well deserved and relaxing Thanksgiving Break.

New ECHS Parents- Mid-Term Progress Reports Submitted on November 6th
Parents, all new ECHS students are required to submit a Mid-Term Progress Report (MTPR) to their counselor by November 6th. The MTPR contains feedback from each of your student's professors on current grades, task completion, attendance, as well as feedback on areas of challenge and areas where students are excelling in their courses.
Parents, now that students have submitted their MTPR, now is an excellent opportunity for you to have a conversation with your student about their progress in their courses. We highly encourage you to check in with your student on the feedback their professors have provided.
ECHS Parent Steering Group
Parents, ECHS is developing a Parent Steering Group. This group will provide feedback on how we can better support our students and families and on the development of parent information sessions throughout the year.
We would love your help and guidance. Our first meeting is scheduled for December 14th, at 5:30pm. If you are interested in being a part of this group and can make it to this meeting, or any future meetings, please add your name to the linked form: https://forms.gle/eS34zkBofJapwVSu8
Thank you for your support.
