Welcome to our 2021-2022 school year! We have had a great start! We have had many changes in our physical structures. We have our beautiful grand new building that houses PK, K, and First grade. ( I hope you were able to come during Parent Meet and Greet to see it.) Construction will soon start on our second grade wing. Currently our second grade are residing in the wing nearest the road across the street. We are all one big school family! We have had those physical changes; however, all other things remain constant: our love for your children, our dedication to excellence, our Great Expectations Model School perseverance and core beliefs, our dedicated staff, our incredible PTO , and our wonderful community of parents and patrons. Thank you for all of your support as we work together to acheive greatness at all levels! We plan to have a grand opening soon in the evening, so watch closely for that information! September is an exciting month as all things fall into order with our young students. We will have fall school pictures taken that you can order, and we will have parent/teacher conferences as well to discuss the beginning of your child's learning, discuss assessments already done, and devise a learning success plan for your child. We will also be eliciting your help at home in our plans. Educating children is a beautiful partnership between the teachers and parents, as well as other extended family and community supports.
