Eagles Principal's Update
School Closure Week 2: March 26, 2020
Dear Eagles Families,
Good evening! I hope that you have been able to keep your families safe during this time of uncertainty. Our staff has worked hard this week to get all materials ready for students and the distribution today went well. We still have many bags left, so don'r forget to pick-up your child's school items and Home Learning Boards tomorrow morning from 7:30-9:30 AM. Our home learning officially starts on April 1. Until that time your child's classroom teacher will be in contact with you. If they have left a message, please be sure to return their call. Communication between home and school has ALWAYS been important, but it is even more critical at this time. The Home Learning Boards have been designed to allow your child independence in their work. The grade level Essential Learning Outcomes (ELO's) were used to create these and your child's teacher will be monitoring their progress on the boards through calls, email or possibly through the use of Seesaw, Google Classroom or Zoom.
We understand that many of you are working from home as well. Setting up a location for learning as well as needed supplies will bring comfort to your child. Routines are also important. Have your child create a schedule with you; you can identify when you need to work and when they need to work, do chores or be outside. You've got this! We have confidence in you, but will be working collaboratively with you through this journey.
Enjoy the video that was created with LOVE from our staff. Thanks to Mr. K for putting it all together.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Lingle
