What is it?
North Carolina Science Olympiad is team based competition in which students build and/or learn about various science topics and test what you know or what you built.

When, Where, Who, What
•When is it?
Every Wednesday 3 – 4 pm
Other days if you want to meet (before/after school) any days except for Tuesdays
•Where is it?
Ms. DeCorah’s room or downstairs computer lab
•Who can join?
Any 6 – 8th grade student – see me if you are participating in winter sports
•What do I need to do?
If you are interested, please take the time to look over the events on the NCSO website (event resources page) and choose 3 – 4 events that you would be interested in participating in, we will choose events in the next couple of weeks.
Complete the bottom portion of this paper and turn it in to Ms. DeCorah or the main office by Friday, October 16.Important Information
There is NO limit to the number of students who can join, we can have more than one team.
If you are not working or not taking this seriously, I will have to ask you to leave.
This is a serious competition, which students have opportunities to earn scholarships, everyone should be working diligently.
