A Note from Mrs. Hibler....
We saved the best for last! Next week promises to be a quick and exciting week for all our students, especially the current 8th-grade class. The school week begins with the Missioning Service at 8:15 am, followed by breakfast in Carribine for the 8th graders and their parents, then at 7:00 pm the Graduation Ceremony will take place at church. On behalf of the school and staff, Congratulations to the graduates and their families. It has been an honor and a privilege to be part of your child's education.
We look forward to watching you grow and mature over the next four years in your new surroundings. May God bless you on your journey.
Wednesday sadly is the last day of school. The day starts with Mass at 8:30, followed by Fun and Field Day. A special thank you to PTO for generously providing a Hot Dog Lunch for the entire school.
Summer kicks off at 1:00 with EARLY DISMISSAL.
Many blessings,
Mrs. Molly Hibler

To all 6th grade parents see note below
Beginning with the 2016-2017 school year, the Ohio Department of Health School Immunization Requirements have been revised to include one dose of Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine to be administered before a student enters the seventh grade. Therefore, your current sixth grader will need to show proof of having received the Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine before they can return to school in the fall.
Your child also requires a dose of Tdap to be administered before a student enters the seventh grade. This dose is intended to be administered as a booster dose for students who have completed the required doses of the initial series of DTaP/DT/Td. Therefore, your current sixth grader will need to show proof of having received this booster dose before they can return to school in the fall.
If your child received one dose of Tdap as part of the original series, another dose of Tdap will not be required. The Tdap can be given regardless of the interval since the last tetanus or diptheria-toxoid containing vaccine.
You are receiving this letter now to provide you with ample time to have your child immunized before the coming school year begins. Please contact your physician or health department to schedule an appointment.
A note from Mrs. Jaunuzzi
If you have any questions or concerns or need to make plans for picking up the medication, you can call the school at 440-366-1681 between the hours of 8:00 am and 2:30 pm.
St. Jude's Little Free Library
The 4th and 5th grade Girl Scouts will be constructing a "Litte Free Library" in June. They are hoping to collect books before the school year ends to get our "Little Free Library" started. These donations can be any book- fiction/non-fiction, and please send to the attention of Mrs. Amy McMillan.
Fall Sports Registration now open!
Registration for Fall Sports is now open. Even though school isn't even out for this year, it already time to start planning for sports in the fall. The registration window runs from today through June 15. With early registration, we are better able to plan for the number of teams we will have in each grade level. Can you please register ASAP for whichever sport your children are participating?

PTO News
PTO has generously offered to provide a hot dog lunch to EVERY child on the last day of school. If you would prefer for your child NOT to consume the hot dog lunch, please email your child's homeroom teacher so that he or she is aware. Thank you!
If any parent is available to volunteer and would like to assist with the hot dog lunch on June 5, please contact Laurie BeVier, PTO Member, via email at ncdtransport@yahoo.com.
Vacation Bible School Service Opportunity
Junior high students- these hours can count across multiple quarters since the students are there so much. Mrs. Craig will sign sheets each day, so the students are expected to keep track of their own sheets for next school year. We are not responsible for keeping track or lost service hour sheets. Please direct any questions to Mrs. Kristen Craig, our DRE, at the rectory.
