Message from our Superintendent Dr. Dan Keyser
Earlier this week, business and community leaders, civic and higher education leaders, Beloit Memorial High School students, School District of Beloit families, teachers, and administrators came together to spend a day learning, visioning and developing a Master Plan for the future of our Beloit Memorial High School Academies.
It was an exciting day for me for many reasons, primarily because of how many collaborative partners participated in this event and expressed their support of our students and our District. When our students were asked to share their thoughts on participating in Master Planning, many said they appreciated being a part of the planning for their future. They also expressed gratitude for all the support from everyone in the room. We have two more upcoming collaborative meetings planned to move forward with a Master Plan for our Academies. I will continue to keep you updated.
Please take a moment to review our Portrait of a Graduate webpage. The Portrait of a Graduate is our North Star for every decision we make regarding our high school students. Much like our meeting earlier this week, the Portrait of a Graduate work was done in collaboration with hundreds of people including our students and families, staff, and community partners.
