Veterans Day at Lowell
We will kick off Veterans Day (Friday, November 11) at 9 a.m. at the flag pole in front of Lowell School. All are encouraged to wear red, white, &/or blue! We are pleased to welcome Captain Nate Iseman, a Lowell parent, and some Lowell musicians to share words and music. If there is a Veteran in your family who will be at the gathering, please email kathleen.melton@cusd200.org so that he or she will be recognized.
We will have a Veteran photo honor wall again at school through the rest of November, and we invite you to drop off hard copy pictures of Veterans that are special to you or e-mail them to lowellveterans@gmail.com. If you e-mailed your photos last year, please just sent an e-mail asking that they be posted again. You do not need to resend the picture.

Registered for Trivia Night??? Check out these reminders!
1) Doors open at 6pm at the American Legion. Selection of your table happens on a first-come-first-serve basis. Social hour is from 6:30pm-7pm. Trivia will begin at 7pm. The night usually wraps-up around 10pm.
2) Remember to bring your checkbook. We will have a raffle with many fun items (including the coveted front row seats for the Lowell Winter Concert). Raffle tickets can be purchased for $20 based on “wing span.” Additionally, there are six fun parties being donated this year. Payment for party attendance will be collected at the end of the evening.
3) Bringing cash is good too! The Trivia Masters will give tables the option to “buy an answer”. This happens with cash during each trivia round.
4) Trivia Night is a BYOF (Bring Your Own Food) event. We provide the table and a cash bar- you provide the rest.
Trivia Night is a fundraiser for the Lowell PTA. The money raised at this event goes to pay for the wonderful programs benefiting all students at Lowell School.
See you Saturday night!
