Week of January 30th
Hello Families,
It looks like this cold weather on Friday will keep us from doing our Winter Sports day. We will hope we get a bit more snow next week and the temperatures climb up.
Global School Play Day
Hello Albert Bridge School Families,
We finished our first Global School Day of Play yesterday and the joy that was permeating through the halls was contagious. Big thanks to Krista Cook who organized this event - it was a big success and gave our kids an opportunity to practice so many important life skills.
Here are some pics!
Track my Progress
We’ve just completed our 2nd Trimester of the year and our nationally normed assessments of Track My Progress, and for 2nd grade, the STAR assessment. Next week you will be receiving your child’s information regarding Track My Progress or STAR and a survey regarding your perspective on helpful and effective communication.
SCIP Fancy Dance
Come join in on a fun night of dancing with your kids at the 1st ever "Brownsville Fancy Dance" on Sunday, February 12th from 4-6pm at the ABS gym. The night will feature a DJ, professional pictures, food, fun, & dancing. Wear your "fancy" clothes!
To help us for a food count, please RSVP on this google doc. prior to February 10th.
Cost is $10 per person, pay at the door - cash, check, or card.
First Story Friday
This Friday is our First Friday Story & Supper at the Mary L. Blood Library. Join us from 5-6 pm for story and creation time. This week we'll be reading about storytelling and friendship, and making our own never-ending cards.
