Rancho Round Up

Rancho Buena Vista High School Principal's Update 7/27/2020

RBVTV 7-27-20

Welcome from Principal Clevenger

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year at Rancho Buena Vista High School! RBVHS has a tradition of excellence and you are now a part of that legacy. At RBV, we demonstrate excellence in a variety of ways.

- Our teachers are committed to preparing you for success both now, and in the future.

- Our Academics are strong and we proudly offer college prep, honors, AP, and IB courses.

- Our Arts programs are world class and provide opportunities for students to connect to their passions and develop their abilities.

- Our Athletics programs are exceptional and our student-athletes compete with dignity and passion.

Rancho rests on a foundation of support for those around us and each person on our campus is expected to "Respect the Ranch." This is modeled by the way we behave inside, and outside, of the classroom. The three character traits of "Respect the Ranch" are:

Responsibility - Integrity - Commitment

RBV students consistently explore the meaning of these traits in class and you will see that students are recognized and celebrated for their positive behavior. Of course, students are also held accountable for their actions when they fail to "Respect the Ranch." As the principal, I care about our students and I am committed to ensuring they learn the value of strong character.

RBVHS has countless opportunities for you and we will provide amazing experiences during your high school journey. I ask that you get involved. I ask that you work hard. I ask that you remember the way you treat others matters. It is going to be a great year. Welcome to the Ranch.

Hook ‘Em!

Joseph Clevenger

Proud Principal of Rancho Buena Vista High School

School begins September 8th, 2020

Dear RBVHS students and families,

We have been hard at work since summer began preparing for the fall. Whatever the year brings, RBV is ready. If learning takes place virtually, we will be ready. If learning takes place in person, we will be ready. We have spent the summer planning, improving and preparing for a great 2020-2021 school year.

Each week you will receive the Rancho Roundup that will have important information.

In addition, I encourage you to follow these sources for regular updates.
