SENIOR UPDATES
The end of this academic year has played out in a way that none of us could have envisioned. Given the extraordinary circumstances, we've focused on unique options to be sure that our FHS Class of 2020 is still celebrated.
Here are the most recent updates:
- ATTENTION A+ SENIORS: An email was sent two weeks ago that included the A+ Citizenship paperwork; it must be signed and returned via email to Jessica Geldner at jgeldner@fulton58.org. Students will not be eligible for the A+ scholarship until this document is on file.
- SENIOR CHROMEBOOKS: Seniors will drop off their Chromebook, charger and bag during the STUDENT PICK-UP SCHEDULE FOR PERSONAL ITEMS posted below.
- GRADUATION CORDS: Students receiving academic honor cords received an email from Counseling stating that these can be picked up following the STUDENT PICK-UP SCHEDULE FOR PERSONAL ITEMS posted below.
- SENIOR AWARDS/RECOGNITION VIDEO: This video will be released at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. It will be posted to the following: FHS Facebook page, FHS web page, FPS Facebook page, and FPS web page. A link will also be emailed to seniors and their parents.
- SENIOR CELEBRATION PARADE: This parade will be Friday, May 22, 2020 at 3 p.m. The route will go the length of Court Street ending at Memorial Park. The parade will consist of Seniors driving or riding in a vehicle. The vehicle can be decorated. No floats or trailers, just vehicles. If a senior doesn't have access to a vehicle, please contact Mrs. Boland, kboland@fulton58.org. There are several staff members who have offered to drive any seniors who may need a vehicle. We will have staff members at Twelfth Street at 2:30 p.m. to organize the senior line of cars. We ask that community members follow the social distancing guidelines and keep their family groups 6 feet apart, on either side of Court Street, while cheering on our FHS graduates.
- Seniors are asked to remain in their cars during the line-up and parade
- No candy or objects may be thrown during the parade
- No more than 3 people in the bed of a pick-up truck. FPD wanted to remind you that will only be allowed during the parade, not through out town.
We look forward to seeing you at the parade and graduation ceremony!
