Introducing Performance Matters Parent Portal
Parents/Guardians,
We wanted to make you aware of a new tool being utilized by the district called Performance Matters, which brings together student performance data needs in one easy to use online portal. Parents can now go into the Parent Portal to view local and state assessment results. Please be aware the email address used for the PM Parent Portal is the same email used in your linked PowerSchool account. If you do not have an established PowerSchool account, you will not be able to access the Performance Matters Parent Portal. For assistance with creating a PowerSchool account, you may contact your school’s main office. After you log in, you will see some basic student information at the top. For testing information, you can click on these tabs:
• The “State Results” tab displays state data as well as reporting categories. It displays all historical state data available in the platform. You can also click on the “Show all scores” box to see the results in more detail.
• In the “Observational Results” tab, you may see some additional Common Core screeners.
• In the “Additional Results” tab, you will find all other results for assessments given.
You can also filter these out by the year, as well as the measure. For example, this is where you can see the results for i-Ready.
Click below for directions on how to access.
NH SAS Writing Assessment for 3rd and 4th Graders
Each year, New Hampshire public and charter schools are required by state law (RSA 193-C) and federal accountability laws (Every Student Succeeds Act) to assess students using a standardized assessment. Third and fourth grade students will be taking the Writing portion of the NHSAS on March 6th and 7th. All accommodations listed for State Assessments will be followed for students with IEPs and 504 plans.
Please reach out to Ms. Shevenell our school counselor at Megan.shevenell@sau26.org if you have any questions.
Thank you,
ACCESS Testing
All students idetified as English Learners on or before March 10, 2023 are required to complete the ACCESS for ELLs Online Test during the 2024 Test Administration Window. Kevin Skarupa from WMUR Came to Visit
3rd Grade
Kindergarten Visit
The Kindergarten children had a visit from WMUR News 9's very own Kevin Skarupa! Each Kindergarten classroom spent time with Mr. Skarupa learning about different weather clouds and even extreme weather storms. Mr. Skarupa explained different types of clouds and how when we notice these clouds we can make different predictions about what the weather will be like for the day or the next day. The Kindergarteners were excited to learn that they will be on WMUR News 9 at 6:45am on February 21st!
