Inside the Social Studies Website

The social studies website has so many great resources that we want to be sure to showcase some of them each month. There will be a resource focus for both intermediate and primary levels.

The best way to access your grade level materials and resources is to go to the CCS Social Studies Instructional Resource Portal:

Reading Quest, http://www.readingquest.org/strat/

This link has a long list of various graphic organizers including some old favorites like Venn Diagrams, or a newer one like "The Inquiry Chart". Use the web address above or to access this site on the Social Studies web page, follow these steps:

CCS - Departments - Socials Studies - Instruction - Social Studies Teaching and Learning - Reading and Graphic Organizers - Reading Quest - Strategies
