Synopsis
Carl Fredricksen always dreamt of flying away ever since he was a boy watching other peoples adventures on T.V. One day he was adventuring outside when he came across a house and a young girl searching for adventure. Quickly he and the girl, named Ellie, fell in love and adventured endlessly together. They grew old together and one day, due to Ellie's poor health, she passed away. After Ellie's death, Carl became an old, grumpy, retired man and lives groggily in his and Ellie's old home. Construction begins to occur around him and his foreman encourages Carl to move to a retirement home. However, he refuses to move out because he wants to stay where he and Ellie grew up. One day Carl meets young adventurous boyscout, Russel. Russel, being the respectable boyscott he is requests to help Carl in any way possible. Carl tricks Russel into helping him get rid of the constuction workers and one day when the construction worker hits his mailbox (which was something that Carl charished with Ellie) Carl hits the construction worker and the head and is forced to move out the next day. Refusing to leave, Carl attaches baloons to his house and flies away with Russel attached to his house. The two adventure through jungles and escape into endless adventure until finally they reach the best place they could ever reach.
