Parents...Action Required..Please!
Parent participation is completely voluntary, but we do hope to get feedback from one member of every household. The parent/guardian survey takes about 12 minutes to complete and will ask questions about your child and about his or her experience in our school. If you have more than one child attending the school, you will be asked to think about the oldest child’s experiences as you answer questions related to his or her growth.
Thank you in advance for completing the parent survey. Please use this link to complete the survey.

Summer Reading Program
Summer reading is always important but is especially so in these difficult pandemic times. The Livermore Public Library’s Summer Reading Program keeps children active and engaged in learning over the summer and can help them keep up their reading and math skills for the fall.
This year, the library had created videos to promote the Summer Reading Program instead of our usual in-person visits to classrooms. We would greatly appreciate it if you would send these video links to classroom teachers and ask that they show a 3-minute video to their class. There are separate videos for each age group.
Video Links:
- Independent Readers (grades K-6 in Fall 2022): https://youtu.be/rY7KGDIIFDM
- Teen (grades 6-12 in Fall 2022): https://youtu.be/WRy3T_bjTso
This summer, the Livermore Public Library is offering an app-based reading tracking system (and paper gameboards for those that need them) and participants can earn badges and prizes. The Summer Reading program is available for free to everyone, from babies to adults. People can register for the game at https://livermore.beanstack.org/reader365 now and the program officially begins on June 1. We also have a Community Reading Goal of 3 Million Minutes this summer. Students can track their time spent reading to contribute to the community goal.
