Tips & Tricks
Create Desktop Backgrounds
If you are 1:1 this works very well since the same student uses the same iPad each time. Even if you are not 1:1 having this as a system worthy of implementation. Adding a number for the background helps to easily identify the iPad. Here is a link to numbers you can download and then add to your iPads.
Create Shortcuts
Create shortcuts to frequently visited sites (Study Island, Class Google Site, etc)
Open your iPad's Safari app and type in the URL of the site that you'd like to visit. Tap the bookmarking icon in the browser to "add to home screen". This will create an app icon on your homescreen and allow your students to visit the page with only a finger tap!

Create Folders for Apps
Help your students find what they need easier by grouping your apps into folders based on levels and/or topics.
Guided Access
Guided Access limits users to one specific app, preventing them from switching to another program or returning to the Home screen. Read more about Guided Access and how to set on your devices HERE.
