God's Dysfunctional Family

This Wednesday night we will continue in our journey through the book of Genesis as we take a look at God's Dysfunctional family. We will see God work in and through the disfunction between Jacob and Esau to ultimately bring about His will and direction for each of their lives. For those who would like to read ahead, the Scripture for this Wednesday is Genesis 27:1-40; 28:10-22. See you then!!!!!!!

Sunday Night Series

Last week we looked at Colossians 3:16-17 to see how Christ desires to radically affect and fill our lives. This week we will be exploring the proclamation that whatever we do we ought to do it in the name of the Lord. Join us as we dive deeply into God's Word!!!!

The Pruning Love of God

This week an article came across my email that spoke to me. Written by a young pastor, Dave Furman in the UAE, he speaks so clearly about the pruning nature of God's love for us. I don't know about you but I personally hate change. If I could organize and arrange my life once and for all I would be the most content person in the room. But life rarely if ever works out the way we plan. Through the ups and downs of life, change inevitably occurs and sometimes when expectations are unmet, pain results.

The good news however is that God is not ruffled or confused by this life. He remains soberingly and sovereignly in control even when my life is in shambles. And even when I desire to remain in the calm and comfort of control, God lovingly prunes the dead branches of my heart away so that the love of Christ might flourish once again. The article is linked below.
