Biography
Ronald Dahl was born in Llandaff, Wales, UK, on September 13, 1916. Dahl published the best-selling story collection of Someone Like You. That same year, he married his wife, Patricia Neil. James and the Giant Peach was published in 1961 and in 1964, he released Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which was later adapted into two films. Throughout his life, he wrote 19 children's books. He died on November 23, 1990.
