Kids in Action at Hardware Ranch
As part of the Utah Curriculum, the students are going to be learning about the various types of plants, weeds, and soils that are popular in Utah. In connection with this we have partnered with a program at Hardware Ranch learning about how to control weeds, using insects. Part of the process is learning about the soil, weeds, insect cycle, and how to use GPS's.
Place Based!
Be prepared for 3 days of constructive, place based learning!
What to bring?
Please come dressed for all types of weather. When we go to the Ranch, bring sturdy shoes (we will be going on a small hike), water bottle, gloves, jacket, and possibly a hat.
What about the food?
If you are bringing a lunch from home, please let your teacher know for both days. Otherwise, lunch will be provided by the school.
