Lawrence Pride
Set for the School Year
Ready for Success
With great pride, we begin a new school year in Lawrence. This year the district embraces the changes of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) in the areas of academic and social skill development for the Lawrence Learners. ESSA’s objectives align with the belief and daily work of Lawrence teachers and leaders, that success is within the reach of each and every learner.
Ready to foster academic and social success. The district studies the alignment of SEL competencies to the success skills of GRIT, Empathy, Integrity, Self control and Embracing Diversity.
