News for the week...
Thanksgiving Break:
THANK YOU for a great start to the year. Colleen & I are so lucky to work with you.
Please enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday and break with your family and friends.
Relax and take some time for the things you enjoy.
Thanks for all that you do.
Grade Level Meetings:
Sean, Colleen, and I will be having grade level meetings after Thanksgiving. We want to meet with each class and review expectations and goal setting. Please email any suggestions for this agenda and we will add to our presentation.
Ethel from BASH request:
The senior class needs a faculty member who will serve as their advisor for the Fashion/Variety Show. The role of the advisor will be to keep the students on track with writing the script for the show, making sure all students feel included and making sure that all of the students know they can all participate in the show in some manner. In addition to performing in the show, students can participate by being on the stage crew and helping to design any props the class needs for the show. The advisor will need to keep the students focused and make sure they are meeting on a regular basis either during lynx period or after school to write the script. The issue with after school meetings are sports practices. Practices for the show will be the week of the show.
If you need anything else please let me know.
Thank you
Ethel
Parent/Teacher Conferences:
Please remember to keep a parent sign in and make a copy for the office.
1 copy will be for your records and 1 for the office.
Thank you!
17 STRONG:
Students from the Berks County community decided to come together as one to support a local student, athlete, brother and friend who has recently been diagnosed with brain cancer. The mission the students have in mind is to simply dedicate a day for Anthony Myers, the date picked to show support is December 17, 2018. This date was chosen due to Anthony’s number on the Berks Catholic High School football team. On the date, December 17, 2018 we influence your students to wear black or grey, this could mean having a Blackout or groutfit day for your school. Black and grey were decided as to the colors since both represent brain cancer and Berks Catholic colors.
Donations of necklaces, bracelets and other Berks catholic spirit items will be donated to your school, we are also influencing the students to buy the 17 Strong tshirt uploaded on Anthony’s gofundme page.
Thank you so much for your time and participation, no one should fight alone. The Myers family and BC community will appreciate everything done by you.
THANKS A LATTE DRAWING WINNER:
