Dear Holy Family Catholic School Community,

It is hard to believe that we only have two weeks of school left! This COVID-19 4th Quarter has been challenging, but we are almost at the finish line for this year. Many of the activities we will be doing during these next weeks will symbolize the end of our 2019-2020 academic year.

Thank you to all the parents who stopped by school last Friday and Saturday for the drive-by pick up of student belongings. It was so good to see you, even if it was just through the car window!

Please pray for the HFCS Class of 2020 as they prepare for their graduation this Friday, May 22. Our Promotion Mass will be live streamed at 9:00am, Father Hoa will preside and faculty will be in attendance. Eighth grade awards will be announced after Mass. The graduates and their families will participate in a drive-by graduation celebration at 11:00am. We are so proud of all of our very talented 8th graders, and we will miss them!

Thanks also go to the 4th and 5th grade parents and faculty who joined me in a Zoom meeting last Thursday night. HFCS plans on combining our rising 5th and 6th grade classes next year, 5th graders will now be members of our Middle School. This shift will allow for more robust classes and enrichment activities.

Thank you, Sister Teresa, for such a lovely tribute to our Mother Mary!

The Band started the school year with a bang! We enjoyed them at the Fall Festival, Veterans Day Ceremony, Christmas Concert and during Open House. All the students earned the First Division Title as they performed at the TPSMEA Competition earlier this year.

The Band, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, have persevered. We know so by the video clips the students have submitted playing various songs and hymns. Ms. Bernal is proud to announce the end of the year top band awards.
