Below is a reminder of the details:

7th/8th Grade Students to Perform at Richmond Music Festival this Weekend!
Saturday, Feb. 13th, select 7th and 8th grade students will be performing vocal and instrumental solos, along with ensembles, at the Richmond Music Festival. Of the students going, some will be performing in public for the very first time! PCMS has a total of 24 events entered. We have participated in this contest over the past ten years and have been very successful, with students consistently receiving a 1 (outstanding) or 2 (exemplary) rating. Overall, this event is designed to give students productive feedback on their vocal and instrumental abilities and to provide them a positive experience which will prepare them for future high school music events. We are very proud of all involved!
Yearbook Orders - Deadline is February 26th!
Time is running out to order your student(s)' yearbook! Yearbooks are a BIG tradition and capture the moments and memories students made throughout the year. We don’t want any student to miss out on having these memories available to look back on for many years to come. We hope PCMS memories are ones they will cherish for a lifetime! We do, however, have to set a deadline so there is plenty of time for production, and we can get the yearbooks delivered to students before the end of the year. The order deadline, which is quickly approaching, is February 26, 2016. Soft sided yearbooks are $16 and hardcover ones are $21 (a la carte options available). Checks should be made payable to PCMS or Platte City Middle School. Extra order forms are available in the office. If you prefer, you may order online at www.ybpay.lifetouch.com and use the yearbook ID code: 5014516.
***An order form (copy) is attached to the main body of today’s email.
