AMSTI-UAB TRAINING 2023

Are you new to AMSTI or have not trained with us since 2018? Then, your first step to training with us would be Science Foundational Training and/or Math Foundational Training. These courses are a prerequisite to all AMSTI content training.

If you are a new teacher that recently graduated, please contact us regarding your AMSTI preservice training. Your completion of preservice training may satisfy this prerequisite.

You will receive an email confirmation from AMSTI-UAB.

“AMSTI is committed to providing educators and their students with resources, professional learning opportunities, and classroom support aligned with Alabama’s standards. The upcoming Alabama Course of Study: Science adoption may necessitate changes to AMSTI’s K-12 science offerings. Teachers who attend K-12 science content training, including Science Foundational Training (SFT), during Summer 2023 and the 2023-2024 school year may be required to complete additional training to continue receiving materials and equipment support, starting Summer 2024.

In addition, teachers who attended 9-12 science training, including SFT, prior to Summer 2023 may be required to complete additional training to continue receiving ASIM materials and equipment support, starting Summer 2024.”
