Shark "Shout Outs" MRHS's way of Appreciating the Great People That Make Our School "A Home Away From Home"
Ms. Freitas
Shark Shout out to Ms. Waystack, Ms. Donovan, and Ms. Freitas (Culinary) for their work with my students who had their classes as electives. They effectively worked with aids and the students to create an amazing class for my students.
Thank You!
Mr. Herring
Huge Shark Shout Out to Nathan Amaker and Cody Doyle. Nathan created an online quizlet to prepare for the midterm exam, and he shared it with the rest of the class in order to support other students. We sent it out over the class twitter feed. Cody used the google drive system to collaborate with his class partner on a group project while he was home recovering from a medical procedure. It was later shared with the whole class. That's commitment to learning.

- Identified lead point of contact for Standing Committees for fund raising, building/concession stand and Middle School engagement. Still looking for volunteer POC's for Membership and Publicity/Community standing committees.
- All Standing Committees are looking for parent volunteers to join and participate in areas of interest.
- Our first even "season pass" for basketball was a success with over 40 sold and just under $1200 raised for the Booster Club.
- Planning underway for several fund raising projects this Spring, looking for ideas and volunteers.
- Starting February Boosters will begin a community outreach initiative to local and regional business community. Welcome ideas, suggestions and contacts. Opportunities for companies to support the Boosters in general or the new concession/bathroom facility specifically. All contributions (cash or in-kind) are tax deductible.
In 2017 we have an ambitious agenda for the Boosters and would welcome all the assistance we can muster.
Here is a sample of our priorities;
1. Ensure EVERY athlete receives recognition at the end of each season, such as the T-Shirts given at Fall Awards night.
2. Finish the Community Build of the Concession and Bathroom facility at the main field, in time for Fall 2017.
3. Become a resource for our AD and Coaches to fund equipment and other items not funded through the school budget.
If you, your company or your employer wishes to make a contribution, please make checks Payable to;
MRSD with "Booster Club" written in the subject line.
Checks can be mailed to the Business Office (Booster Club), 425 Crowell Rd, Chatham 02633, or handed in at the MRHS office where we have a mailbox.
