Thank you so much to everyone who signed up to walk Suzie throughout October. October was the first time we tried this and it worked out really well. Suzie loved getting exercise and breaks in her day. It is also helpful to have Suzie become comfortable with multiple adults handling her.
If you are interested in signing up for a day to walk Suzie in November. Please use this link. If you have any questions, please reach out to Kaitlyn Lipinski at LipinskiK@BrightonK12.com

Important Reminder!
Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Barton, Mrs. Cavallaro and Mrs. Chernich are very pleased with how well our students have been working and learning in gym, steam, art and music! If you have any need to conference with us about your child, however, please contact us to schedule a meeting. (Mrs. Chernich will be unable to conference until after Thanksgiving break.)
We are always happy and willing to meet and discuss any concerns you may have.
Also:
If your family has been contacted about an enrichment class, please know that these classes will begin on Friday, October 13th. Enrichment teachers will pick up their students on the first day of class. After that, students will be responsible for getting to these classes independently and on time. Thank you for your enthusiasm about our offerings!

Friendly Reminder - Therapy Dog
We wanted to share a friendly reminder to our families about pets on school grounds. Because our school has a therapy dog, we ask that non-service animals be kept at home. This is for the safety of our therapy dog, Suzie. When Suzie is at school she is trained to do a job. When other dogs are on the property during school hours it is distracting for her and/or could put her in potential danger.
Thank you for understanding.
Reporting Your Student's Absence in Parent Connect
There is a helpful feature in Parent Connect that allows you to enter your student’s absence. Simply log into parent connect and click on the link Report Absence. The Report Absence link will open a screen for you to complete. If you have more than one student check the name of the student for whom an absence is being submitted. Add the applicable dates. If you check the All Day flag attendance will be submitted for the am and pm periods. If you do not check the All Day flag times must be entered and attendance will be submitted for whichever periods meet during the time range (based on period schedule). If you use Parent Connect to report your child's absence you do not need to call the attendance line.
