There are no Scheduled Parent / Teacher Conferences this year. However, we are committed to ongoing and consistent communication between parents and teachers.
Dear Fox Hollow Families,
It is our goal to have open and ongoing communication with families to provide all students with a positive and productive learning experience.
If your student attends Fox Hollow, you can be assured that . . .
Faculty will communicate student successes and concerns in a consistent, timely, and culturally sensitive manner.
School information will be communicated via our school website and newsletter in both English and Spanish.
Classroom information will be communicated via newsletters, email, or phone.
Midterm grades and state or district assessments will be shared every six weeks and final grades will be shared every twelve weeks.
Grades will be posted to Schoology in a timely manner.
Families will be contacted if their student has a grade of a ‘D’ or below.
Please feel free to reach out to your student’s teacher by calling the school or emailing them individually. We want your children to succeed and ongoing communication is key to meeting this goal.
Thank you,
Fox Hollow Faculty and Staff
Why are there no scheduled parent - teacher conferences this year?
Aren't parent conferences important?
Why wouldn't a district want to have conferences?
The reason for no scheduled parent conferences is because we believe communicating with families should not just happen on 2 scheduled days during the school year. We believe it should be happening much much more frequently. Ways in which teachers and parents can communicate has evolved dramatically in recent years. Gone are the days where parents and teachers only visit about students during scheduled times. We are committed to frequent and predictable communication using all available technology. If you would like to speak with your child's teacher - call our school or email them to set up an appointment. If you do not know their email, call our school and we will be happy to help.
