Scholastic Book Fair


Book fairs are a great way to motivate students to read because of the wide selection of books available. Students have the opportunity to choose a book based on their own personal interest. Our fairs are not only limited to reading books – there are also comics, activity books, creative pencils and erasers, and fashion journals.


During the book fair, students have the opportunity to participate in “Reading Contests” where they will be entered in a raffle drawing for posters. Depending on grade level, students will submit a drawing or written summary of a book they love. After school, many parents and students come into the Science Lab and look at books they can read together.


Our school community participated in the ‘All For Books’ program where books will be donated to schools and community organizations in need. Students and parents voluntarily donated their change to this cause giving us a total of $33.74 in donations. But, that's not all! Scholastic doubled our donation which gave us a total of $67.48 to purchase books. Thank you everyone for your generosity!

Overall, our school profited $996.10 from this fair. Thank you so much for your support!
