With the first week of testing completed, thanks to all for pushing our students to do their best. Continue to motivate and encourage them. You all have worked hard throughout the year, and this is the time for our students to showcase all the wonderful things that they have learned. Keep in mind that we still have a long road ahead of us. Make sure that we maximize every second we have with our students. Teach till the end.....

Incentives for testing will be as follows (Subject to Change)
- Week One- Grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th- Extra Recess from 3:00-3:35
- Week Two- Grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th- Popcorn and a Movie from 2:00-3:30
Incentives will be based on the following...
- 100% attendance on testing days
- Students working hard during the test (to be determined by teacher.)
I am asking that we all work together to make sure this is a success for the students. I will need one teacher per grade level to stay with the kids that will not participate and two teachers to monitor the students during the activities. If you have a team of four you can split two and two.
Staff please be advised that the following will be required training in the district for everyone including newly hired staff. If summer training is not completed then the district PD days will be used for those that have not had the training. Please make sure that you register for the following:
PBS (1 day)
Behavioral (either Regular teacher session or SPED session) and the COMBO day (2 days)
SIOP (2 days)
Primary Institute (for K-3) 2 full day
