Picnic Tables and Water Bottles

This weekend a group of families and staff came together and built 18 picnic tables for students to use outside!

Upcoming Events- Today!

There are a couple of events today:

1) At 5:30 Karen Shulda will be here on campus meeting with prospective ballet students (for students in grades 4-6) and their caregivers to talk about the upcoming fall dance session. Next Thursday 9/23, students in grades 1-3 will meet with Cynthia James on campus at 5pm.

2) Also a reminder today is a full day with a 3:15 release!

After School Dance Classes Return to BSE

The following information about dance classes was provided by Karen Shulda:

"The two classes offered will be taught by Cynthia James for Grades 1-3 and by Karen Shulda for Grades 4-6.

Dance for Grades 1-3 will be based on the work of Isadora Duncan, and emphasize expressive movement and response to music. Class meets on Tuesdays 3:30-4:45 beginning Sept. 28.

Sign-Up and Parents Information Meeting for this group is Thursday, Sept. 23 at 5:30.

Ballet for Grades 4-6 will be based on an age appropriate Cecchetti syllabus (a world wide standard) and will meet on Wednesdays, 2:15-3:45 on early release days and 3:30-5:00 on full days.

Sign-Up and Caregiver Information Meeting for Ballet is Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 5:30.

For these classes to go forward, eight students must be enrolled in each. Tuition will be $150 per dance student for the term.

The Winter/Spring term will be 18 weeks—more on that later! Even more detailed class information is below."
