School Board Appreciation Month
A big congratulations as our School Board has been selected as a 2022 WSSDA Board of Distinction! WSSDA said of the board “Congratulations on your district's accomplishments this year in closing opportunity gaps and your board's success in applying the Washington School Board Standards to accomplishing their goals while working together as an effective and cohesive team.”

Message from Mrs. Moe
Welcome Back! I hope that you all had a relaxing Winter Break and were able to connect with family and friends. We are so excited to have your students back at Little Mountain ready to learn. This past week we have been relearning the behavior expectations to ensure students are learning at high levels. Teachers worked to reestablish routines and systems within their classrooms. Mrs. Beatty, Ms. Froling, Ms. Kim and myself reviewed playground and bathroom expectations with students to ensure students are safe and responsible.
Now that we are back, it is more important than ever to make sure we are coming to school every day to not miss out on learning. Learning loss is a real thing and even 1-2 days of missed instruction time per month can lead to gaps in learning that build over time. We know students get sick and that is to be expected. Please try and schedule any appointments outside of the school day. Please plan trips and vacations outside of school days.
Coming to school every day is a critical step for the success of your student. Let's be here so we can "Grow Greatness!"
