Davenport's Weekly Update
Week of December 13th
Message from the Principal
Dear Davenport Staff & Students,
Greetings,
DECEMBER IS THE MONTH OF JOY!
Let the Countdown begin!
“Every day is a chance to begin again. Don’t focus on the failures of yesterday, start today with positive thoughts and expectations.” Catherine Pulsifer
One week down and a few more school days to go before our winter recess! On this coming Monday, the Renaissance Team has organized fun activities for our students to celebrate completing their 1st Trimester of school. We are EXCITED to CONGRATULATE them for all of their hardwork, flexibilty, and perserverance. We are GRATEFUL for the staff and families who have helped them achieve this as well. *Don't forget to wear your PJs*
During the winter break, take some time to reflect on the year. Give yourself a millisecond, second, minute, hour, and day to JUST BREATH. Know that you are doing the BEST you can with what you have been tasked with. We are in this TOGETHER!
Thank you for all that you continue to do for the Davenport Community!
