Principal's Post
There are only 9 days left in 2nd semester, wow time flies! Please make sure you are encouraging your child to log in and complete work on their Remote Day as well as assignments during Face to Face instruction. We want to finish this grading period with our best effort.
Today teachers will participate in a Blended Learning professional development session to expand upon their pedagogy. We continue to improve our instructional strategies so we can best meet the needs of ALL students. Our teachers want to ensure your students know how to think critically and will be well prepared for 21st-century careers.
Have a great week!
Warm Regards,
Heather Andrus

SC Governor's School for Science and Mathematics
The SC Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics offers an Accelerate virtual engineering program. This program provides an unmatched academic experience in a fast paced, non-traditional learning environment. Students accepted into this program have the opportunity to earn up to 49 college credits, participate in team building experiences and annual summer camps. Students will also be able to explore real world engineering, develop leadership and communication skills as well as industry internship opportunities after graduation.
TEAM UP is an application-based high school engineering program for 10th-, 11th-, and 12th-grade students in the state of South Carolina. Through a series of gateway courses, students learn fundamental problem-solving skills, gain exposure to various engineering fields, develop an understanding of the engineering design process, and acquire STEM content knowledge. TEAM UP also aims to provide students with information that will help them make thoughtful decisions about their future college studies and careers. Most courses within TEAM UP are delivered through live interactive video-conferencing. Additional courses consist of asynchronous online coursework and weekly one-hour synchronous webinars.

Beginning Tuesday, January 5, 2021, parents will no longer be required to pre-order meals. Meals may be picked up between 11:30-1:00 at the following locations: Belleview, Finley Road, Oakdale, Rosewood, Castle Heights, Dutchman Creek, and Northwestern. 2020-2021 RRMS Yearbook
Due to half our school being virtual, and the rest being A/B, we request students and parents send photos to be considered for the yearbook. We would love to see students and/or doing work online or otherwise, in class, or even doing things on their "off time". We'd also like fun candid photos with or without masks. Photos should be school appropriate. Photos can be submitted here.
Yearbooks (hardcover, 76 pages) may be ordered for $37. Please visit the website to order your yearbook here.
8th Grade parents may place tribute ads for their 8th graders at jostensadservice.com starting at $25 by February 10th.
