Liberty High School
Week of September 17
Student ID Policy
Liberty High School has started to enforce the student ID policy. Students are required to wear their ID above the waist at all times during the school day. Students who are not wearing their ID during the school day will be assigned a consequence for the infraction. After the 5th infraction students will be assigned one day of out of school suspension. Liberty staff appreciates your support in helping keep the students safe.
Required Course Fees
As written in the Frisco ISD Course Catalog, some classes require a Materials Fee. This fee was enter on your students’ My Payments Plus account in mid August. As these fees were due September 10, 2018, please log into your MPP account to check for an outstanding materials fee.
If you feel this fee is attached to your students’ account erroneously, please email wilsonch@friscoisd.org.
Parking Permit - Update
Student parking enforcement will begin Monday, September 17th. All students who choose to park on campus or within 300 feet of school property should have purchased a parking permit by now and have completed the Google Form on the Liberty website. If you have not received your parking permit then you’ve either not paid and not submitted the Google Form or the paperwork you submitted on the Google Form was not available for us to see or the insurance was not correct or expired.
If you have not received your permit, you may stop by B101 to speak with Mrs. Wilson.
Senior T-shirt Deadline - NOW - Sept 18.

Frisco ISD to Host Community Town Halls on Bond and TRE Measures
Join us for a series of public town hall meetings about the bond and TRE measures that will appear on the November 6 ballot. Community members unable to attend in-person can tune in online to watch a live stream of the events on the Frisco Independent School District Facebook page.
Frisco Independent School District invites residents to learn more about the bond program and TRE appearing on the ballot on November 6, 2018. Voters who live in Frisco ISD will see two separate propositions on the November ballot. The bond election would authorize the District to issue $691 million in debt to finance the construction of new schools, renovations to existing facilities, security measures and more. The Tax Ratification Election (TRE) would raise the operations portion of the property tax rate by 13 cents. A Board-approved resolution would then reduce the debt portion of the tax rate to offset the increase, resulting in a two-cent overall decrease to the total tax rate. This tax swap would provide millions of dollars of increased operational funding to address areas identified by the District and community, while allowing FISD to meet its debt obligations.
FISD leaders will present information and answer questions from the public during the upcoming community forum.
Wednesday, October 10 - Fowler Middle School, 3801 McDermott Rd, Plano - 6:30pm to 8:30pm
To vote in Texas, you must be registered at your current address at least 30 days before the election date. That means residents must be registered by Tuesday, October 9 to participate in the November 6 general election. For voter convenience, early voting opportunities will be available between Oct. 22 - Nov. 2.
