Pepper Picking at Bedner's
What is gleaning?
Gleaning is a food recovery strategy that allows produce that is below market grade, but equally nutritious and beneficial, to be harvested and distributed to the food insecure of Palm Beach County. Through our partnership with CROS Ministries, we strive to provide volunteers at gleaning projects throughout the year.
CSK's chaverim will be joining CROS Ministries to glean produce. All participants must complete the 2017-2018 waiver packet, which can be downloaded here, and brought to the gleaning site.
Community service hours are available.
