Lago Vista Middle School

2014-2015

Welcome to LVMS...

We are very excited about what we have been able to do the first three weeks of school. The students, teachers, & staff have worked out a few kinks and things are fantastic at LVMS. I want to let you know that I will do a better job of communicating with our LVMS families. I will put out at least a monthly newsletter to inform you of important information.

Our theme for LVMS this year is 212° The extra degree! For those of you that aren't familiar with the story behind it, I have attached the youtube video below. We are looking forward to an incredible year! You are a huge part of your student's education so please get involved in any way you can at LVMS.

Student Planner....

As you know one of the items on the student supply list is a student planner. Not only are we planning on using this as a tool to increase both organization and communication with parents, but LVISD has made it a priority to implement a Character Education program K-12. The planner that we have ordered for your student is going to be a resource that we will be using to assist in the Character Education program. It is not the only resource we will use, but it is a daily reminder for all of our students and staff on the importance of having Viking Valor as a part of our everyday culture.

Student planners are available in the front office for $4. Please ensure that your student is able to be fully prepared for their complete education at LVMS.
