Principal Letter
Dear Boxford Families,
Well, it has been about a week since we have checked in with you all. We miss our students and families very much. Many of our teachers have shared the wonderful ways that students have responded to their outreach with emails, videos and phone calls. The teachers have expressed how much they have loved being connected with the children and how they plan to do so regularly over the course of this school closure.
We hope that you have found the online learning resources helpful for your children at home. The plan with this portal of information is for it to be refreshed with new resources each week. These optional resources offer a place for children to engage in the learning process across all content areas, we encourage you to take advantage of them as well as the time to do some outdoor activities with your children. This unexpected pause in our daily lives does offer the chance for us to take advantage of time and connection with our loved ones!
The report cards will be opened up on School Brains this Friday for you to view. We have postponed conferences for the time being as we would like for teachers to have the opportunity to meet with you in person when we are back in session. Special education progress reports will be sent out to parents as well. We will plan to send out communication with you weekly and will update our blogs as needed throughout this week and next week. Please communicate with either of us with any questions, concerns or needs that arise. We are available through email and can chat with you by phone also.
Take care! <3
Sincerely,
Kathryn Castonguay & Betsy Boulanger
