Christianity

Christianity is a religion based on the person and teachings of Jesus.

The religion started in Middle East, spread to Europe.

The holy book of Christianity is the Bible.

Major holiday is at December 25th, which is called Christmas because that's the day Jesus was born due to the Bible.

Christianity is monotheistic, meaning they believe in only one god.




Judaism

Judaism is a religion and philisophy of the Jewish people.

Torah is the holy book of Judaism.

Major holiday of Judaism is Hanukkah, It is an eight day holiday commemorating the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem

Hinduism

The holy book of Hinduism is Vedas

Holi and Diwali are the two major holidays of Hinduism.

Hinduism originated in India, and is the most dominant religion in India.

Hinduism is polytheistic, meaning they believe in many gods.

Buddhism

Buddhism is a religion based on the teaching of Buddha.
The holy book of Buddhism is Tripitaka

Buddhism is neither monotheistic nor polytheistic, meaning they don't believe in a certain god.

Islam

Islam is a religion based on the book, Quaran and the teachings of Muhhamad, who is believed as the 12th prophet of god.
The holy book of Islam is Quran.
Islam started out in the middle east

Islam is monotheistic, meaning they believe in only one god
