Letter from the Principal
Dear Families and Students,
What an AMAZING year it has been at Lago Vista Intermediate School! I have watched your children learn, grow, achieve and shine! It has been an honor to serve this school as principal. They make me so proud to be an LVIS Viking. Our students are special, unique, and incredible. They never stop to amaze me with their many talents.
Your child has accomplished so many great things this year! From the hallways to the classroom, this school is filled with examples of extraordinary learning. They have used their talents in outstanding ways. They have impressed me with their athleticism during our fun run, their thirst for knowledge during the Science Fair, and their artistic talents and creativity during their classroom performances.
For our students, remember the lessons that you have learned this year and strive to reach even greater heights next year. Remember, We all ROW!
Have a wonderful summer and we will see you in August!
Here is wishing you love, laughter and learning.
Mrs. Sullivan
Garey Park Field Trip
There is a splash pad at the park so students need to remember to bring their bathing suit, shoes that can get wet, towel, sunblock, lunch, water bottle, and a change of clothes. This should be a fun day.
Garey Park Address
We will be at the play ranch at Garey Park
6450 Ranch to Market Rd 2243, Georgetown, TX 78628
**Weather Update**
There is a chance of rain and storms on Monday and Tuesday. We are watching the weather closely. If it is storming, we will not attend the park. Buses will stay at the park during the entire field trip. If the weather does change, we will load the buses and return to school. Teachers will send out an email to their class IF we are NOT able to attend and stay at school. Please feel free to call and check in with the school on Monday or Tuesday if you have questions.
Thank you From Mr. Webb
LVISD would like to thank you for going to the polls and making your voices heard in the May 7th election. The voter turnout and support for LVISD students resulted in the passage of all three 3 propositions! We also want to thank the planning committee for assisting in developing the needs of the district and parents, staff and community members that helped share the information about the proposals.
As a district, we are extremely grateful for your support of LVISD. The passing of this bond is important for our growing school district and will help to provide our students with many opportunities to be successful. Your support will not only serve our current students but students for generations to come. Again, THANK YOU for supporting the students and the schools in Lago Vista ISD!
Sincerely,
Darren Webb

Summer School
- If your child missed more than 90% of school, they will need to attend summer school in order to receive credit for the school year.
- If your child is below grade level in reading or math
- We do not have test scores back yet. However, if your child does not pass the STAAR, we are inviting your child to attend summer school so that they can get their 30 hours of accelerated instruction. This is a law from HB4545. If students do not pass the STAAR, they must receive 30 hours of accelerated instruction. We are offering it during summer school this year as a way to help students complete their 30 hours during summer school instead of the school year.
