Cougar Courier

Greetings from Dr. Garcia!

February 15, 2020

On Friday, the student council hosted our first "Breakfast with Love". It was truly a wonderful event for scholars and loved ones and we are thankful for everyone who attended. A special thanks to Mrs. Davis who helped organize this wonderful event!

We had the honor of hosting the district-wide Spelling Bee on February 13th. It was a fun and competitive event! Special thanks to Stephen Sam (6th grade), Kaila Yohn (7th grade) and Donovan Little (8th grade) for representing CIA!

Cold and flu season is here! Please keep scholars at home if they are running a fever. We will make sure your scholar gets any missing work and absences will be excused with a note. Be sure to include your scholar's first and last name, the date(s) of the absence, the reason for the absence and your first and last name.

This week, the Lady Cougars are hosting the LaSalle Lions at home. The JV game begins at 5:30 pm. Please note that scholars cannot attend the game without an adult and scholars cannot stay after school until the event. We do not have supervision for scholars after school.

We do not have school on Monday due to President's Day. We hope our scholars enjoy the three day weekend, and we will see them on Tuesday! Have a wonderful weekend!

Blessings,

Dr. Garcia
