4th Grade Super Sailor Newsletter
Week 13: November 16-20, 2015
What are our Super Sailors learning this week?
We will continue looking at the different forms of energy this week. Students will learn about the difference between conductors and insulators and will also create their own electromagnet using some wires and a battery. The Electric House Project is due on Thursday, November 19th. This will be counted for a major grade in Science class this quarter. Late projects will result in a deduction of points. Please review the attached rubric that will be used to grade the projects.
- Science Night is Thursday the 19th from 6:00-7:30!
Thanksgiving Break-No School: November 23-27
Dear Parents and Guardians,
At Austin Parkway Elementary we strive to provide the best experience possible for our students and their families. We are constantly looking for ways to streamline processes within our building. The policy regarding early dismissal and checkout can be found in the Austin Parkway Elementary Student-Parent Handbook, on our website. Please see below for the excerpt.
In the case of an unforeseen event that causes a change in the way your child goes home please follow these steps.
