We are almost there! For those of you that have already tested, great job! There are only a handful of students left to test. We will be working to complete all of our testing throughout the week. If you receive an invitation for your student to attend a make up testing session, please ensure that they log into Mrs. Garcia's Zoom Link at the appropriate time. Thank you!

State Testing Update

Each year, the district administers the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) in English Language Arts and Mathematics to grades 3 – 8 and grade 11. However, due to the pandemic and distance learning, the U.S. Department of Education has given school districts flexibility in the tests they offer this year.

MVUSD has identified NWEA MAP as the end-of-year local assessment that meets all of the requirements of the California State Board of Education. This assessment is standards-based, available to students in grades 3 – 8 and grade 11, and the results it provides can be shared with parents and guardians of individual students.

The testing window for Hidden Springs will be May 17th through May 21st for Grades 1-5.
