Spoiler Alert: Ms. Wilson's update, Teacher Appreciation Week, Last Chance to BID, Help Wanted, ...

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I sent this information about social media a couple of weeks ago but want to include it again. It's a great resource for families that you can review with your own children. With all the misuse, it will really help our community if everyone is more aware of what your students are doing online.

As an update to our threat situation from April 13, a restorative process happened last week between involved parties. We also provided a space for students last week to work with our Restorative Justice Coordinator and it was a good turnout. She will also be providing a space for parents/guardians on Wednesday, May 10th after school. More details on exact time and which room will come soon.

Thank you,

Ms. Wilson

Teacher Appreciation Week

We appreciate our educators and staff every day but this is a special week to make sure they know their hard work and dedication are noticed. Thanks to our generous PTSA and volunteers for signing up to bring in breakfast treats and lunches all week.

Please encourage your student to take a moment to write a note of thanks to share. To make it even easier, you can use THIS FORM to enter your comments and a parent volunteer will type up the notes and post them in the staff room.

PTSA ONLINE AUCTION CLOSES TONIGHT!

Our Annual Online Auction ends tonight at 8 PM, so make sure to bid on those items you have been watching closely. We still have items without any bids, so head over to the AUCTION WEBSITE HERE to bid on or buy great items.

We are hoping to raise $15,000 for this auction, and we still have a bit over $4,000 to meet that goal. Making a straight CASH DONATION is also a great way to help support da Vinci. You can do so HERE. Remember that all funds raised at the auction will go back to our school by supporting our students, teachers, and community (i.e: sponsor special classroom projects, purchase art materials, buy food for after school clubs, etc.)

Winners may pick up their items at school this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (see information about Spring Plant pick up below for location). Questions? Contact the auction team at davinciauction@gmail.com
