USD 225 Receives Full Accreditation Status

USD 225 Receives Full Accreditation Status

Last year Fowler completed a 5 year cycle of school improvement through KESA in which we focused on meeting school goals in the areas of Relationships and Relevance. Based on our work and the data we had to support our progress, Fowler received Full Accreditation Status from the Kansas State Department of Education! We are excited to begin a new 5 year cycle and set new goals as we focus on the development of Fowler Grade School.

Pancakes & Pictures on August 16th

The first day of school is always exciting and emotional for both students and parents. Please join us that morning for a pancake breakfast, classroom visit, and opportunity to take those traditional first day of school pictures!

Early Dismissal on August 16th

The first day of school on August 16th officially begins at 7:55 a.m. and students will be dismissed early at 1:00 p.m.

School Communication

School Communication

The school app is used to communicate changes in schedules, school closings, and other important announcements and reminders. Please download this app by searching for "Fowler Schools USD 225" in your App Store. Be sure to enable notifications. All school closures and cancellations will be communicated through this app.


This app, as well as our school Facebook feed, both link to the homepage of our school website as well. You can find us at www.usd225.org.


Our school utilizes a Google calendar that you can sync to the calendar on your phone. When events are updated within the school calendar, it will automatically update on your personal calendar. You can also click to view the most current calendar on both our school website and our school app. The link is also included in our newsletter every month.


Classroom teachers will also use Class Dojo to communicate with families. Teachers will send home instructions on how to connect when school begins.

2022-23 School Meals

After 2 years of receiving COVID-19 relief funding, the USDA and KSDE has informed Kansas school districts that the School Nutrition Program will be returning to its traditional food service program and funding for the 2022-2023 school year. Families will have the opportunity to complete a Free and Reduced Lunch Application in August 2022. Meal prices for the 2022-23 school are anticipated to be: Breakfast (K-6) $2.10, Lunch (K-6) $2.60, and PK Snack $1.05.

The last day for the USDA Summer Food Service Program is Friday, August 5th. Children ages 1-18 are invited to join us for free meals.


Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

PLACE: Fowler Grade School Cafeteria

MEALS WILL BE SERVED MONDAY - FRIDAY

Adult meals are available for $5.00
