Sophomores & Juniors will take PSAT Wednesday, October 16th
All sophomores and juniors will be taking the PSAT (Preliminary SAT) Wednesday, October 16th from 8:00-11:30am. This test is paid for by the Indiana Department of Education.
PSAT scores have held increasing importance in recent years. Students must score 940 or higher in order to be eligible to earn dual credit through Oakland City University. The PSAT is also how juniors can be considered for the National Merit Scholarship Competition.

Project Aspiree Campus Visit Opportunities
Project Aspiree will be taking several campus visits this fall. Students must be sophomore, junior, or senior in Project Aspiree to participate. If interested contact Mrs. Sward.
Transportation is provided and food is included. For the overnight visit to Purdue hotel is included. There is no cost to the student.

Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship
Award: Provides up to $7,500 annually to high achieving students
School: Any
Major: Education
Criteria: Student must agree to teach in Indiana for at least 5 years; 200 scholarships available each year; Students must graduate from an Indiana high school and either graduate in the highest 20% of the class OR receive a score in the top 20th percentile on the SAT or ACT. Interested students should apply by Nov. 30th at www.scholartrack.in.gov. If a student is receiving a full tuition scholarship, this scholarship can be used toward housing.

USI B/MD Scholarship
Award: Up to full tuition & a provisional seat in the IU School of Medicine
School: USI and IU School of Medicine
Major: Pre-med
